Pop-Up Show Â

Â
In the aftermath of loosing my home in the Eaton Fire, I began painting small vignettes inspired by my changing surroundings. Across four cities, and two couch tours, I developed a cohesive visual travel diary exploring the themes of impermanence and community. All works included in the project are gouache on paper, painted from a small travel kit.

The initial phase is a series of pre-show happenings. These activations include free artwork hung in selected locations and Instagram stories accessed via QR codes placed in key spots. The artwork and accompanying calls to action intentionally withhold details of the final exhibition date, instead offering teaser information about the series.

The final phase centers on return, bringing back collected experiences and reflections. The property at 554 East Poppyfields Dr becomes both the physical and symbolic stage, with the new home frame serving as the exhibition space.

Pieces are all 7"-5" Goache on toned paper || cities included: Fountain Valley, Redondo Beach, DTLA, Shadow Hills and Idyllwild
